It's simple.... I love this jacket. I'm a 6ft2 slim guy and went for the small. I would like a little extra lengths in the arms (but I have this on pretty much all jackets). The close fit is great, there is plenty of room for a base layer, jersey under this jacket. Unless it's really cold I can wear just a thin base layer and this jacket as it's so nice and warm. The middle pocket is a zipped water proof pocket and that's great for my mobile and some cash. The high collar is a nice touch for me. After buying this I will be buying more from Shutt with no complaints as I've had nothing but a great experience. Plus being British what more can you ask for?

I'm a natural XL and having got an Active Softshell for Christmas, which has plenty of room, I was a bit concerned about the sizing of the Performance Jacket; I need not have worried. The pictures of the jacket do not do it justice. The subtle grey and black threads provide a greater contrast in natural light and along with the contrasting panels, reflective materials and piping the effect is to re-enforce the message that this is a high quality product. The fit is excellent with plenty of movement room and no excess material. The dropped rear hem is long enough to cover the lower back even at full stretch and I found the sleeves to be just the right length. Three pockets on the rear of the jacket are ample for the things you want to carry on yourself and the waterproof centre pocket has seen a lot of use recently and works well. The jacket has been exposed to some extreme weather, wet and cold, recently and has performed really well. Properly layered up it is an excellent water and windproof top layer that has seen off just about all that has been chucked at it. Suggestions for the future; perhaps a two-way main zip for a bit of light cooling. £180 is a lot of money, for which you get a lot more jacket than you might do from some suppliers. Add in that it's UK made and does work then the spend is worth it.
