William Frank “Sandy” Holdsworth started his cycle shop business in 1927 at 132 Lower Richmond Road, we have been there ever since offering the finest in bicycles and accessories.
We specialise in bikes for both sport and recreation, so whether you’re looking for a new bike for your next triathlon, looking to improve your time at L’etape du tour or just pop down to the shops we have the machine to suit.
We can also service and repair bikes in our very well equipped workshop with our Cytech certified mechanic, we have teamed up with Cycle Scheme to offer up to half price bikes (please call for details).
In over 80 years of assisting bikes and their riders we have always appreciated that no two machines or riders are alike, so if you are looking for pile it high sell it cheap one size fits all cycling I’m afraid we can’t help, however if the you’d rather see a wide hand picked range of mainly European brands biased towards road and general purpose use, pop in and say hello.

Pavé Velo is situated in St. Austell a seaside town famous for the Eden Project. Pavé Velo is a real destination store offering sales, servicing, cycle hire and just a nice place to hang out and have a chat. Shutt VR fits perfectly with our brand and store culture. Pete Bragg said to say the design is market leading and the quality of the garments can’t be beat! however in all seriousness from the jerseys to the musettes every item is beautifully finished, fits fantastically and looks exceptional.
Blacksmith Cycles
With exclusive rights to Italy’s legendary Scapin Bicycles across the North America and to venerable racing brands such as Storck, Museeuw, Fondriest and Carrera across Canada, Stage-Race Distribution is well-suited to represent Shutt Velo Rapide’s amazing cross-section of classic, yet technical cycling clothing from this wonderfully authentic British brand. Through our affiliation with the Toronto-based Blacksmith Cycle club-team, who are already testing and providing feedback to the Shutt VR designers, Stage-Race fully expects that the already impressive Shutt lineup will continue to grow in features, quality and options, and in particular, suitability for North American consumers.

Cycles UK at Harrods
Cycles UK are proud to run Harrods in store bike shop. The Harrods concession also doubles as Cycles UK’s main central London shop. Based in Knightsbridge the Harrods store is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest tube station is literally outside the front door.
As you would expect with Harrods reputation we keep two of our bigger premium brands in store (Wilier and Cannondale) along with a range of high performance, great value, Accessories and Clothing from the likes of Camelbak, Altura, Topeak and Giro.
Windmill Wheels
Windmill Wheels is an independent boutique bike shop situated in stunning cycling countryside.
Run by two local lads, the shop offers a haven for cycling enthusiasts. We pride ourselves in friendly expertise, bike repairs, sales, and custom fitting.
The official opening of Windmill Wheels was on the 30th of June when Jim Walker from Enigma bikes was our special guest showing off a range of limited edition bikes.Thanks to everyone who came – we hope you enjoyed yourselves.
